Customer service chatbots with a human handoff
Scope a focused support assistant that knows when to ask for help and preserves context for your team.
EXPLORE THE WORKFLOW
Find the gap
A conversation is not resolved simply because a bot replied. Unanswered questions and uncertain responses need a clear escalation path.
See a practical example
A visitor asks about an existing request. The assistant gathers the permitted reference and routes the request to a person when it cannot safely resolve it. The handoff preserves the question and avoids exposing another customer’s records.
Define success
Measure successful handoffs, reviewed answer quality and unresolved requests. Do not count every automated response as a resolution.
Built for your working day
Service teams answering repeat questions and routing support requests to the right person.
What we work through together
- Approved question and content scope
- Escalation and human ownership rules
- Representative test questions and failure cases
- Access and review requirements
Before the workflow goes live
- Unsupported questions are escalated
- Private records require appropriate access checks
- A person receives the handoff context
- Answers can be reviewed against approved sources
Systems and integration scope
CRM or helpdesk access is scoped explicitly. We confirm authentication, provider capabilities and data boundaries before connecting a chatbot to customer records.
Will the chatbot replace our support team?
The initial scope is a bounded assistant. People remain responsible for exceptions, sensitive issues and questions outside the approved knowledge and permissions.
How much does implementation cost?
Implementation is quoted after discovery. Configuration, migration, integrations, training and ongoing support are scoped separately from software subscriptions and provider charges. A free prototype does not commit you to a subscription.
What should I prepare?
Bring one process, the systems it touches and an example of where work gets stuck. We agree a focused prototype and the information needed to evaluate it.
